Sometimes, the destination becomes a part of the journey. For some vacationers, choosing where you stay is the most important part of the vacation. These hotels offer a unique experience to guests and beg to be remembered.
1. Out ‘n’ About Treesort, Cave Junction, OR: This resort allows guests to stay up in the trees. This resort-style campground offers plenty of family-friendly amenities, including zip-lining and nights around a campfire. Want something more private? The resort offers more tucked away houses that allow for quiet.
2. Shack Up Inn, Clarksdale, MS: Far and away from the typical dream vacation resort, this little town of shacks offers guests some truly distinct experiences. Located in an old blues town, guests can experience life in those tiny Mississippi shacks found in history books.
3. Northern Rail Train Car B&B, Two Harbors, MN: While the inside of this hotel doesn’t look like a train car (the rooms are actually really nice!) the outside is convincing enough. Close enough to Duluth and Lake Superior, this B&B is a perfect place to crash (bad train joke?) after a day of rustic sightseeing.
