Career History:

1984-present: Real Estate Broker. 
My focus is on all aspects of owner-occupied residential real estate with a specialized program for elders and their caregivers.  I lead a sales team of five licensed realtors as well as our administrative support.

1984-1987: Long Term Care Planner
Coordinated Care Management Corporation - Involved in developing and implementing of various grant programs including some of the first local attempts to reduce unneeded hospital stays and also utilization of emergency response systems to allow individuals to remain in their homes for a longer period of time.

Laura Nightingale, licensed real estate sales associate and office coordinator, has worked with the Olear Realty Group since 2003.  She has taken advanced course work in architectural design, property disclosure and fair housing law, in addition to earning a senior real estate specialist (SRES) designation.  Her background includes a BA in Psychology and a secondary English teaching certification, as well as her current efforts working on her Master’s Degree.  She has a strong work ethic, a deep sense of compassion for others and well-developed listening skills.  Her expert knowledge and attention to detail makes her easy to work with when you are purchasing or selling your home.

Lou is a Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker who has been fulltime in real estate since 1985.  Through the years Lou has helped countless buyers and sellers fulfill their dreams.  In addition to listing and selling real estate, he is also a certified NYS appraiser.  This thorough understanding of value gives his clients an edge when evaluating a property.

Ann Ferro, transaction coordinator, brings 20+ years of real estate experience to the Olear Realty Group.  Her extensive knowledge helps to make every transaction run as smooth as possible.  Aside from her impressive organizational skills, Ann’s personal contact with clients is professional, friendly and informative.  We are thrilled to have her in this pivotal role on our team. 

Diane Taylor: diane@olear.com

Diane Taylor has worked as a licensed real estate sales associate since 2008.  Her passion is working with buyers.  Clients often mention how tirelessly and diligently she works to find them the perfect home. Her tremendous people skills have been further developed through her many years of volunteering.  In addition to 10 years of delivering Meals on Wheels, she also spent 7 years on the Ken/Ton Meals on Wheels Board and acted as chairman of the Fundraising committee. She has also worked as a home assistant for Hospice for 3 years before becoming a Realtor.  Diane has a deep compassion for helping people in all aspects of life.

In her more than twenty years as a licensed Realtor, Magdalena has listed and sold real estate all over Western NY, from the shores of Lake Ontario to the slopes of Ellicottville.   After moving to Boston, NY, she is now the Southtowns Specialist at Olear Realty Group/MJ Peterson Real Estate.  Magdalena has an advanced degree from Indiana University and has studied Interior Design at Villa Maria College and History of Art & Architecture at the University of Buffalo.  She also taught her native language, German, at D'Youville and Canisius colleges. 

Tricia Huntress: tricia@olear.com

Tricia Huntress, licensed real estate sales associate, worked for Acquest Development in the commercial arena from 2008 until 2011.  She brings extensive experience to her residential real estate career.  In addition to earning a B.A. at Pepperdine University, she is both a passionate volunteer at Roswell Park Institute and a teacher at Mullen Sister’s School of Dance and Bornhava.  She has a deep sense of compassion and understanding when working with others.  Her experiences both inside and outside of the field have trained her to really listen to what her clients want and as our Olear Realty Group value and mission statement states, “we protect our clients best interest as we assist them with identifying and fulfilling their residential real estate objectives.”
