Welcome to Buffalo, NY.  With its population of almost 300,000, this Western New York, Erie County city is well known as a 19th Century boomtown, having blossomed from humble beginnings as a frontier village to a metropolis of industry and manufacturing. Despite the lagging world economy, the region benefits from burgeoning health and education sectors, and its unemployment rate is lower than New York State's and the nation's average.

What makes the area appealing is the low cost of living, short commute times and recreational outlets. There is always something to do in Buffalo, from sailing in the winter, to skiing in the summer, to magnificent natural wonders like Niagara Falls. Further, the downtown district is full of activity, history and culturally rich activities in outlets like the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra; Shakespeare in Delaware Park, the second largest outdoor Shakespeare festival in the country; Artpark, a unique public park perched above the Niagara River Gorge that acts as host to a series of shows from Broadway to blues; nightclubs that pulsate until 4:00 a.m.; and so much more!

Buffalo NY real estate options consist of single family homes, condos, multi-unit resident properties, land lots, and lake area seasonal homes.  Home styles range from the contemporary to an architecture style reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright's prairie home.  The median home price is $106,921.
